13th MARCH, RESPONSORIAL PSALM (PSALM 137)

R. On the day I called, you answered me, O Lord.

1. I thank you, Lord, with all my heart,
you have heard the word of my mouth.
Before the angels I will bless you.
I will adore before your holy temple. (R.)

2. I thank you for your faithfulness and love
which excel all we ever knew of you.
On the day I called, you answered;
you increased the strength of my soul. (R.)

3. You stretch out your hand and save me,
your hand will do all things for me.
Your love, O Lord, is eternal,
discard not the work of your hands. (R.)

ACCLAMATION

Now, now – it is the Lord who speaks –
come back to me with all your heart,
for I am all tenderness and compassion.

all my being, bless his holy name.

His wrath will come to an end;

As far as the east is from the west
so far does he remove our sins. (R.)

Open my eyes, O Lord, that I may consider
the wonders of your law.

GRACES IN COPIOUS STREAM (HYMN)

Graces in copious stream
from that pure fount are welling,
where, in our heart of hearts,
our God has set his dwelling.
His word our lantern is,
his peace our comfort still,
his sweetness all our rest,
our law, our life, our will.

All praise and thanks to God
the Father now be given,
the Son, and Holy Ghost
enthroned in highest heaven;
the one, eternal God,
whom earth and heav’n adore;
for thus it was, is now,
and shall be evermore.

TODAY’S RESPONSORIAL PSALM (PSALM 117)

R. The stone which the builders rejected
has become the corner stone.

1. Give thanks to the Lord for he is good,
for his love has no end.
Let the sons of Israel say:
“His love has no end.”
Let those who fear the Lord say:
“His love has no end.” (R.)

2. The stone which the builders rejected
has become the corner stone.
This is the work of the Lord,
a marvel in our eyes.
This day was made by the Lord;
we rejoice and are glad. (R.)

3. O Lord, grant us salvation;
O Lord, grant success.
Blessed in the name of the Lord
is he who comes.
We bless you from the house of the Lord;
the Lord God is our light. (R.)

ALLELUIA

Alleluia, alleluia!
This day was made by the Lord;
we rejoice and are glad.
Alleluia!
